Bodegas Coronado: a family story of wine, terroir, and small-scale production in Cuenca.

Bodegas Coronado is a family-owned winery located in La Alberca de Záncara (Cuenca), founded in 2002 by Casildo Coronado García and continued by his sons, Raúl and Casildo. The family manages around 25 hectares of its own vineyards, located at an altitude of over 800 metres, and oversees the entire process from grape growing to wine production and ageing. Its philosophy focuses on small-batch production and on expressing the characteristics of each grape variety, including Cencibel, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer. Its wines are produced under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla designation and have received several awards, while the winery also offers wine tourism experiences centred around its vineyards, facilities and wines.
